Please be aware of, in some complex recovery cases the recovery process time may be affected by capacity of hard drive and condition of surfaces on the disk.

The drive started making noises, then died. The laptop was under warranty and Apple replaced the damaged drive, but I need my staff off my old drive, you're the only my help.

First blue screen then rebooted but BIOS did not detect presence of hard drive... no spin no noise... was hot underneath so suspect PCB...
